<br />Councilmember Riley introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #19-195 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A RESTRUCTURE TO THE PAID-ON-CALL <br />FIREFIGHTER PAY SCALE <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br />, the current Paid-on-call Firefighter wage scale structure is $14.50 per hour <br />for all Firefighters including monthly Officer stipends; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />Staff and the Joint Fire Board recommend a restructure of the current wage <br />scale structure; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />the restructure will compensate Firefighters for experience and training level. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />1)Motion to adopt resolution #19-195 approving the Paid-on-call Firefighter hourly <br />wage scale, effective January 1, 2020, as follows: <br /> <br />1)0-1 years of service $12.88 <br /> <br />2)1-5 years of service $15.00 to $15.45 <br /> <br />3)5-10 years of service $15.60 to $16.07 <br /> <br />4)10+ years of service $16.22 to $16.70 per hour <br /> <br />5)Additional pay of $1.50 per hour for the Lieutenant positions <br /> <br />6)Additional pay of $2.00 per hour for the Captain positions <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Kuzma, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Heinrich <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
