These parks and <br />facilities include playgrounds, shelters, ballfields,trails, public grounds and streetscapes. <br />BUDGET HIGHLIGHTS <br />• Asphalt: Additional $50,000 to maintain trails (Capital Maintenance Fund funded) <br />• Capital Equipment: Kubota Tractor Attachment - New Item - $31,000 <br />• Capital Equipment: Replace Large Area Mower-$92,000 <br />GOALS OF CURRENT YEAR BUDGET: <br />.Begin implementation of new trail maintenance policy developed in 2015 <br />Continue to coordinate trail, sidewalk, parking lot and rink snow removal with city-wide snow plowing for <br />. Continue to work year-round with the athletic associations in the provision of youth recreation <br />. Complete a citizen survey to identify community need for recreation programming <br />Following the conclusion of the 2018 comprehensive plan update and master park planning endeavor begin <br />implementing the park and trail plan objectives <br />.
