Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #19-187 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING CODE ENFORCEMENT ACTION PLAN FOR 5431 <br />164TH LANE NW IN THE CITY OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA <br />WHEREAS, the property owner Cynthia Krebs (the "Property Owner") has an open code <br />enforcement case on the property generally known as 5431 164th Ln. NW and legally described as <br />follows" <br />Lot 3, Block 3, Barthels Rum River Acres <br />("Subject Property"); and <br />WHEREAS, the Subject Property is zoned R-1 Residential (Rural Developing); and <br />WHEREAS, the Subject Property is approximately 1.37 acres in size; and <br />WHEREAS, there are documented City Code violations dating back to 2012, with <br />additional code enforcement cases in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, and 2019 with notices of <br />violation regarding fabric sheds, off-street residential parking, number of vehicles on the property, <br />and outdoor storage of debris; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has most recently opened a case on the subject property for <br />violations related to off-street residential parking, number of vehicles on the property, and outdoor <br />storage of debris); and <br />WHEREAS, the City sent a formal notice of violation on September 20, 2018 for the <br />hoop building on the Subject Property; and <br />FINDINGS OF FACT <br />1. The City inspected the property on: <br />a. January 15, 2019 <br />b. April 2, 2019 <br />b. April 17, 2019 <br />c. June 11, 2019 <br />d. June 19, 2019 <br />e. July 17, 2019 <br />2. The City sent formal notices via US Mail on: <br />a. January 15, 2019 for the reduction in the number of motor vehicles to the city code <br />limit of six (6), that all vehicles be parked on an improved surface, and that no more <br />than one (1) inoperable vehicles was allowed on the property. <br />87 RESOLUTION #19-187 <br />Page 1 of 4 <br />
