Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #19-184 <br />RESOLUTION TO BACKFILL THE ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN II POSITION <br />WHEREAS, there is a current vacancy in the Engineering Department due to a <br />retirement; and <br />WHEREAS, a recruitment process was conducted; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Logan Czech has been selected as the top candidate for the <br />position; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff completed the necessary background checks and are <br />recommending that Mr. Logan Czech be hired as a full-time Engineering Technician II, <br />effective on or near September 3, 2019 at $27.12 per hour; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Czech will be subject to a 6-month probationary period; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Czech will be subject to the terms of the applicable labor <br />agreement and the City's Personnel Policy. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) Motion to adopt resolution #19-184 to hire Mr. Logan Czech as a full-time <br />Engineering Technician II, effective on or near September 3, 2019, at $27.12 <br />per hour, which is step 2 of the 2019 wage scale. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br />favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />
