Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #19-185 <br />RESOLUTION TO APPROVE PROMOTING AN ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN II TO <br />AN ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN IV <br />WHEREAS, there is a current vacancy in the Engineering Department due to a <br />retirement; and <br />WHEREAS, staff recommends promoting a current Engineering Technician II, Aaron <br />Madsen, to Engineering Technician IV, at step 4 of the Engineering Technician IV wage scale, <br />which is $34.93 per hour. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) Motion to adopt resolution #19-185 to promote Mr. Aaron Madsen to Engineering <br />Technician IV, effective September 1, 2019 at step 4 of the Engineering Technician IV <br />wage scale, which is $34.93 per hour. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 12nd day of August, 2019. <br />Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />
