Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #19-195 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A RESTRUCTURE TO THE PAID -ON -CALL <br />FIREFIGHTER PAY SCALE <br />WHEREAS, the current Paid -on -call Firefighter wage scale structure is $14.50 per hour <br />for all Firefighters including monthly Officer stipends; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff and the Joint Fire Board recommend a restructure of the current wage <br />scale structure; and <br />WHEREAS, the restructure will compensate Firefighters for experience and training level. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) Motion to adopt resolution #19-195 approving the Paid -on -call Firefighter hourly <br />wage scale, effective January 1, 2020, as follows: <br />1) 0-1 years of service $12.88 <br />2) 1-5 years of service $15.00 to $15.45 <br />3) 5-10 years of service $15.60 to $16.07 <br />4) 10+ years of service $16.22 to $16.70 per hour <br />5) Additional pay of $1.50 per hour for the Lieutenant positions <br />6) Additional pay of $2.00 per hour for the Captain positions <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember, <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />
