Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #19-176 <br />RESOLUTON APPROVING PRIME ADVERTISING CONTRACTS FOR THE RAMSEY <br />RESIDENT NEWSLETTER AND ANNUAL COMMUNITY RESOURCE GUIDE <br />WHEREAS, the City wishes to outsource the City newsletter, The Ramsey Resident; and <br />WHEREAS. the newsletter will be published quarterly as a four-color glossy newsletter <br />with space for advertisers; and <br />WHEREAS, the contract covers sale of ad space, design, printing and distribution of the <br />newsletter; and <br />WHEREAS, outsourcing the Ramsey Resident newsletter will allow Staff to focus on <br />other important internal tasks; and <br />WHEREAS, the Annual Community Resource Guide may benefit the Economic <br />Development Authority (EDA) with a strong marketing tool for the City. <br />1) Motion to adopt resolution #19-176 Approving PRIME Advertising Contracts for Ramsey <br />Resident Newsletter and Annual Community Resource Guide <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />Where upon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 23rd day of July, 2019. <br />Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />City Clerk <br />
