Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #19-215 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A FAIR HOUSING POLICY FOR CITY OF RAMSEY <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey was recently awarded a $900,000 contaminated soils <br />cleanup grant from the Metropolitan Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the awarded grant requires that the City adopt a Fair Housing Policy; and <br />WHEREAS, a Fair Housing Policy will help to ensure that all residents of Ramsey are able <br />to access housing without discrimination. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the Fair Housing Policy for the City of <br />Ramsey. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />and the following abstained: <br />None <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the loth day of September 2019. <br />Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />
