Councilmember Kuzma introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #19-216 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING METROPOLITAN COUNCIL TBRA BROWNFIELD <br />CLEANUP GRANT, APPROVE GRANT AGREEMENT, AND REQUEST FUNDS FOR <br />LOCAL MATCH FROM ANOKA COUNTY HRA <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey was recently awarded a $902,800 contaminated soils <br />cleanup grant from the Metropolitan Council through its Tax Base Revitalization Account <br />(TBRA); and <br />WHEREAS, the awarded grant requires a local match of $86,621; and <br />WHEREAS, a the City desires to request funds from Anoka County HRA funds related to <br />said local match. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the following: <br />a. Accepting the Metropolitan Council Grant. <br />b. Approving the Grant Agreement by and between the Metropolitan Council and City <br />of Ramsey. <br />c. Authorize request to the Anoka County HRA in an amount not to exceed $87,021. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Heinrich, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor LeTourneau <br />Councilmember Kuzma <br />Councilmember Heinrich <br />Councilmember Menth <br />Councilmember Musgrove <br />Councilmember Riley <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />and the following abstained: <br />None <br />
