Case #11: Approve Declaring Metal BuildiOg Excess Inventory and Authorizing a Sealed Bid Process to Dispose or'Property Assistant Public Works Director Olson explained the City of Ramsey acquired the property at 14140 14 I'~t Avenue NW for the purpose of :~dustrial/Commercial development. Staff has rcccivcd inquiries about selling the 38 x 44 ftl metal building. Staff is recommending declaring the building excess inventory and authorizing: a sealed bid process to dispose of the property. Motion by Councihnember Co°k, seconded by Councilmember Olson, to declare the metal buikting at 14140 141~t Avenue 'Nw as excess inventory and authorize a sealed bid process to dispose of the building. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec~ :Councilmembers Cook, Olson, Elvig, Jeffrey, Pcarson, and Strommen. Voting No: None. MAYOR AND COUNCIL INPUT 1 ) Upcoming Meetings Mayor Gamec announced the following: The State of the Region Address is schedtr!ed for Monday, January 31, 2005 at the Earle Brown Heritage Center. The Ramsey BuSiness NetWork Meeting is scheduled for March 8, 2005 at 7:30 a.m. Chairman Bell will be present. 2) Highway 47 Councihnember Elvig announced there willbe an article in tomorrow's Star/Tribune about the City's concerns regarding Highway 47.
