<br />Councilmember Kuzma introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #19-221 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION HIRING SEASONAL PUBLIC WORKS MAINTENANCE WORKER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />annually the City employs Seasonal Public Works Maintenance Workers to <br />perform work in the Parks, Streets, and Utilities Divisions of Public Works; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br /> Staff selected one qualified seasonal candidates; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />the candidate has passed the pre-employment screenings; and <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br /> Staff recommends hiring the 2019 Seasonal Public Works Maintenance <br />Worker. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) Motion to adopt resolution #19-221 to hire the following employee on or near the dates <br />listed below: <br /> <br />Seasonal Public Works Maintenance Worker: Doug Opsal, effective on or near October <br />10, 2019 at $11.00 per hour. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Heinrich, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Heinrich <br /> Councilmember Menth <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> Existing Vacancy <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
