<br />Councilmember Heinrich introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #19-219 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING ENGINEERING PROPOSALS FOR TOPOGRAPHIC <br />SURVEY AND GEOTECHNICAL REPORT FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #20-01, <br />VARIOLITE STREET RECONSTRUCTION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, t <br />he City of Ramsey proposes to reconstruct Variolite Street between Alpine <br />rd <br />Drive and 173 Avenue in the year 2020; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />in order to prepare plans and specifications for said improvements, <br />topographic survey work and geotechnical work will be required; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />City Staff requested proposals from Engineering consultants for said <br />topographic survey and geotechnical work; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />a total of three proposals were received in response to the Request for <br />Proposals for topographic survey and Staff recommends approving the proposal from Hakanson <br />Anderson and Associates in the amount of $12,800; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />a total of two proposals were received in response to the Request for <br />Proposals for geotechnical work and Staff recommends approving the proposal from Northern <br />Technologies Inc. in the amount of $29,750. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />1.That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves of and authorizes Staff to execute the <br />proposal from Hakanson Anderson and Associates for the requested topographic survey <br />in the amount of $12,800. <br /> <br /> <br />2.That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves of and authorizes Staff to execute the <br />proposal from Northern Technologies Inc. for the requested geotechnical work in the <br />amount of $29,750. <br /> <br /> <br />The motion of the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Riley and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Heinrich <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Menth <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
