Councilmember Elvig introduced the Following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #08-10-212A <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 2008 COMPREHENSIVE SURFACE WATER <br />MANAGEMENT PLAN; IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #07-24 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey is in the process of updating their Comprehensive Plan, and; <br />WHEREAS, a significant component of the Comprehensive Plan is a Surface Water <br />Management Plan (SWMP), and; <br />WHEREAS, the SWMP has been reviewed by the Lower Rum River Water Management <br />Organization and the Metropolitan Council, and; <br />WHEREAS, Comments from these reviewing agencies have been incorporated into the final <br />S WMP. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby adopts the Comprehensive Surface Water <br />Management Plan <br />2) The SWMP shall be incorporated into the City's Comprehensive Plan and implemented <br />by City staff. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Strommen, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Strommen <br />Councilmember Dehen <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Look <br />Councilmember Olson <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />none <br />and the Following abstained: <br />none <br />and the following were absent: <br />Mayor Gurnee <br />RESOLUTION #08-10-212A <br />Page 1 of 2' <br />RECEIVED <br />APR 03 1009 <br />DNR <br />Waters <br />
