The goal of the plan is to prevent human -caused contaminants from entering our <br />water supply wells and to protect all who use our water supply from adverse health effects associated with <br />groundwater contamination. This notice is required by the Minnesota Wellhead Protection Rule, <br />part 4720.5300, subpart 3. <br />The entire project will take 2.5 years to complete. Public informational meetings will be held in November <br />of 2018. <br />In accordance with the wellhead protection rule, the following information must be included in this notice: <br />1. Date Wellhead Protection Plan Amendment Must Be Completed: October 06, 2019 <br />4. General Proiect Work Plan: See attachment. <br />5. Missing Data Elements Needed for Wellhead Protection Plan Amendment: City Staff are not aware of <br />any missing data elements. If you have data elements that should be included in our plan, please submit <br />them to me. <br />Also, if available, please submit: 1) any existing water and related land resource plans and official controls; <br />and 2) a description of conflicts, problems, or opportunities that you want examined and addressed in our <br />wellhead protection plan amendment.
