CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor LeTourneau called the City Council Work Session to order at 5:37 p.m. <br /> 2. TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> 2.01: 2020 General Fund/Levy Review—Continued Discussion <br /> City Administrator Ulrich stated that this is a special worksession focused on budget discussion. <br /> He stated that the intent would be to have a preliminary levy adopted by the second meeting in <br /> September, which allows the City to submit that information to the County prior to the deadline. <br /> He noted that a number of revisions have been made in attempt to present a lower levy amount. <br /> Finance Director Lund reviewed the staff report. <br /> Mayor LeTourneau asked for clarification on whether the Recreation Specialist and Police <br /> Officer position were included in the budget. <br /> Finance Director Lund confirmed that the Recreation Specialist and the Police Officer position, <br /> approved in the 2019 budget, were included in the budget as presented tonight.
