<br />Councilmember Riley introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #19-248 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PROPOSALS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #19-12, CENTRALIZED WATER TREATMENT <br />FACILITY PRELIMINARY DESIGN REPORT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />to ensure its municipal water supply system will continue to provide <br />adequate quantities of safe drinking water into the foreseeable future, the City of Ramsey issued <br />requests for proposals for professional services to analyze the municipal water supply system <br />source water, develop a water system model, and prepare a preliminary design report for a <br />centralized water treatment facility; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />five proposals were received in response to the City of Ramsey’s request for <br />proposals; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />City Staff recommends accepting the proposal from the SEH proposal team <br />and entering into a contract with SEH for the requested professional services based on the value <br />the SEH team will provide the City due to their proposed work plan and fees. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />contract with SEH for said professional services for and on behalf of the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Musgrove, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Heinrich <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Menth <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
