NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br />ON THE PROPOSAL TO ESTABLISH <br />AN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />FOR THE CITY OF [NAMEOFCITY], MINNESOTA <br />Notice is hereby given that the City Council (the "Council") of the City of [NameofCity], <br />Minnesota, will hold a public hearing on , [Year], at a meeting of the Council <br />beginning at approximately p.m., at the [NameofCity] City Hall in the City of <br />[NameofCity], Minnesota, relating to the question of the establishment by the City of an <br />economic development authority (the "EDA") pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Sections 469.090 <br />through 469.1082. <br />Following the public hearing the Council will consider an enabling resolution (the <br />"Enabling Resolution") which would establish the EDA. The Enabling Resolution, a copy of <br />which is on file and available for inspection in the City offices, would authorize the EDA to <br />exercise all powers granted to such authorities pursuant to the above -mentioned statutes and <br />would designate that the EDA would be governed by a five -member Board of Commissioners, <br />all of whom would be members of the City Council. Upon approval of the Enabling Resolution, <br />an organizational meeting of the EDA will be held on the same evening. <br />All interested persons may appear at the public hearing and present their <br />views orally or in writing. <br />36 <br />
