<br />Councilmember Kuzma introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #19-255 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ENVIRONMENTAL <br />POLICY BOARD’S 2020 WORK PLAN <br /> <br />RECITALS <br /> <br /> <br />1.The primary objective of the Environmental Policy Board is to promote environmental <br />awareness and conservation practice by citizens by advising the City Council on policy <br />issues, review of new development proposals, communication and education; and <br /> <br /> <br />2.Through careful review, the Environmental Policy Board will present multiple <br />perspectives, ideas, and new technologies that promote both discovery and accountability; <br />and <br /> <br /> <br />3.The Environmental Policy Board is responsible for reviewing environmentally related <br />city policies and ordinances and recommend appropriate revisions and/or additions to <br />City Council; and <br /> <br /> <br />4.The Environmental Policy Board shall promote public outreach and education regarding <br />environmental issues facing the city; and <br /> <br /> <br />5.The Environmental Policy Board shall develop a work plan that is consistent with the <br />city’s Strategic Plan and initiatives. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />1)That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby approves the 2020 Work Plan for <br />the Environmental Policy Board. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Menth, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Menth <br /> Councilmember Heinrich <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />
