Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #19-270 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN ACCESSORY STRUCTURE AGREEMENT FOR A <br />DETACHED ACCESSORY STRUCTURE THAT INCLUDES A BATHROOM, LIVING SPACE, <br />KITCHEN, AND FULL BAR ON THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 16501 JARVIS ST NW AND <br />DECLARING TERMS OF THE AGREEMENT <br />RECITALS <br />The City of Ramsey received a building permit application from Allen C. Skogquist and Alycia K. <br />Skogquist for a 11,972 square foot detached accessory structure on the property generally known <br />as 16501 Jarvis Street NW and legally described as follows: <br />UNPLATTED RAMSEY TWP SW1/4 OF SW1/4 SEC 7-32-25 <br />(the "Subject Property") <br />2. That Allen C. Skogquist and Alycia K. Skogquist, owners of the Subject Property, herein referred <br />to as the "Applicant", submitted an application for a Building Permit to construct a 11,972 square <br />foot detached accessory structure (the "Accessory Structure") for a building including: <br />a. Storage space with a workbench and floor drains <br />b. Approximately 1,100 square feet of living space with: <br />1. A full wet bar with fourteen (14) stools and sink <br />2. A see -through fireplace <br />3. Three TVs <br />4. Two couches and chairs <br />5. A bar ledge for additional seating <br />6. Kitchen space <br />7. Ping-pong table <br />8. Trophy cabinet(s) <br />9. Arcade games and dart board; and <br />10. A full bathroom with a toilet, tub/shower and sink <br />3. That the Applicant's plans indicate that the Accessory Structure would be heated. <br />4. That the Applicant has stated the building will be used for children's parties, hang out space, as a <br />man -cave area, and mostly for storage of recreational equipment. <br />5. That the Accessory Structure has been designed with unique architectural plans to maximize <br />sunlight into the Accessory Structure including large floor -to -ceiling windows and angled walls. <br />6. That the Subject Property is zoned R-1 Residential (Rural Developing), and the surrounding parcels <br />are zoned R-1 Residential (Rural Developing). <br />RESOLUTION #19-270 <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />
