Includes a Bathroom and Art Studio Space on the Property Located at 17710 Tonto Street NW <br />and Declaring Terms of the Agreement, contingent upon review as to legal form from the City <br />Attorney. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor LeTourneau, Councilmembers Kuzma, Menth, Heinrich, <br />Musgrove, and Riley. Voting No: None. <br />7.01: Adopt Ordinance #18-03 Rezoning Property from R-1 Residential (MUSA) to <br />Public; Case of Brookside Elementary School (Administrative Correction) <br />City Planner Anderson reviewed the staff report and recommendation to adopt ordinance 918-03 <br />approving the rezoning of the subject property from R-1 Residential (MUSA) to Public. The <br />new elementary school that has been constructed on the property is an important community <br />asset. <br />Motion by Councilmember Riley, seconded by Councilmember Heinrich, to waive the City <br />Charter requirement to read the ordinance aloud and Adopt Ordinance 918-03 Amending Section <br />117-90 "MAP" of Chapter 117 of the City Code of Ramey, Minnesota. <br />A roll call vote was performed by the Recording Secretary: <br />Councilmember Heinrich <br />aye <br />Councilmember Kuzma <br />aye <br />Councilmember Menth <br />aye <br />Councilmember Riley <br />aye <br />Councilmember Musgrove <br />aye <br />Mayor LeTourneau <br />aye <br />Motion carried. <br />7.02: Review Community Development Commissions and Authorities (Planning <br />Commission, EPB, and EDA) <br />Community Development Director Gladhill reviewed the staff report, providing a broad <br />overview of Ramsey's Community Development Commissions and Authorities as a lead-in to a <br />series of work plans to be approved by the City Council. <br />Councilmember Musgrove asked for additional input on the City Code and its relation to the <br />Boards and Commissions. <br />Community Development Director Gladhill stated that each Board or Commission have <br />guidance in City Code that are in alignment with State Statutes that may exist. <br />Councilmember Musgrove asked for input on the HRA which was dissolved and how the process <br />happened. <br />City Council / October 22, 2019 <br />Page 5 of 8 <br />
