<br />Councilmember Kuzma introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #19-268 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION HIRING A TEMPORARY PART-TIME BUILDING MAINTENANCE <br />WORKER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />Staff alerted the City Council of an upcoming temporary absence in Building <br />Maintenance due to a staff member’s leave of absence; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br /> Staff selected a qualified candidate; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br /> the candidate has passed the pre-employment screenings; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br /> Staff recommends hiring the Temporary Part-time Building Maintenance <br />Worker in the Public Works Department. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) Motion to adopt resolution #19-268 to hire the following employee on or near the date <br />listed below: <br /> <br />Temporary Part-time Building Maintenance Worker: Steve Ecoff, effective on or near <br />November 4, 2019 at $15.00 per hour, and approximately twenty-five hours per week for <br />approximately ten to twelve weeks. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Heinrich, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Heinrich <br /> Councilmember Menth <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> Existing Vacancy <br /> <br />
