<br />Councilmember Riley introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #19-290 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ALLOCATION OF THE 2020 PARKING <br />MAINTENANCE COSTS PER ALLOCATED SHARE ASSIGNED TO EACH PARCEL <br />WITHIN PARKING DISTRICT A <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />the City of Ramsey Adopted an Amended and Restated Parking <br />Improvement Use and Maintenance Agreement (PUMA) for Parking District A (Municipal Center <br />Ramp) on April 30, 2012 and First Amendment January 8, 2013; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> the City of Ramsey is required to annually adopt a budget of parking ramp <br />maintenance costs on or before the date thirty days prior to the beginning of each full fiscal year; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> on or before the date thirty days prior to each full fiscal year, the City Council <br />must adopt a resolution allocating the budgeted parking maintenance costs for that fiscal year <br />among the benefitting parcels; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> the share of the anticipated annual parking maintenance costs the City <br />allocates to each parcel for each given fiscal year will be determined by multiplying the parcel’s <br />allocated share, which is the number of parking spaces assigned to that parcel within Parking <br />District A divided by the total number of parking spaces within Parking District A. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> for fiscal year 2020 the parcel allocation of the 793 stalls is calculated as <br />such: <br /> Transit Parcel: 350 Stalls <br /> City Hall Parcel: 143 Stalls <br /> Unallocated Stalls: 25 Stalls <br /> Residence at the COR Parcel: 275 Stalls <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> for fiscal year 2020, the budgeted park maintenance costs of $148,813 will <br />be allocated as such based on the stall allocation listed above: <br /> <br /> Transit Parcel Budget Allocation: $ 65,680 <br /> City Hall Parcel Budget Allocation: $ 26,835 <br /> Unallocated Stalls (City Portion): $ 4,692 <br /> Residence at the COR Apartments, LLC Parcel Budget Allocation: $ 51,606 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, , <br /> for fiscal year 2020the owners of each parcel must pay to the City the <br />amount of the parking maintenance costs that the City Council has allocated to the parcel as listed <br />above, by February 29, 2020. <br /> <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, COUNTY OF ANOKA, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />
