Voting Yes: Mayor LeTourneau, Councilmembers Kuzma, Menth, Heinrich, <br /> Musgrove, and Riley. Voting No: None. <br /> 7.01: Adopt Ordinance #18-03 Rezoning Property from R-1 Residential (MUSA) to <br /> Public; Case of Brookside Elementary School (Administrative Correction) <br /> City Planner Anderson reviewed the staff report and recommendation to adopt ordinance #18-03 <br /> approving the rezoning of the subject property from R-1 Residential (MUSA) to Public. The <br /> new elementary school that has been constructed on the property is an important community <br /> asset. <br /> Motion by Councilmember Riley, seconded by Councilmember Heinrich, to waive the City <br /> Charter requirement to read the ordinance aloud and Adopt Ordinance #18-03 Amending Section <br /> 117-90 "MAP" of Chapter 117 of the City Code of Ramey, Minnesota. <br /> A roll call vote was performed by the Recording Secretary: <br /> Councilmember Heinrich aye <br /> Councilmember Kuzma aye <br /> Councilmember Menth aye <br /> Councilmember Riley aye <br /> Councilmember Musgrove aye <br /> Mayor LeTourneau aye <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 7.02: Review Community Development Commissions and Authorities (Planning <br /> Commission, EPB, and EDA) <br /> Community Development Director Gladhill reviewed the staff report, providing a broad <br /> overview of Ramsey's Community Development Commissions and Authorities as a lead-in to a <br /> series of work plans to be approved by the City Council. <br /> Councilmember Musgrove asked for additional input on the City Code and its relation to the <br /> Boards and Commissions. <br /> Community Development Director Gladhill stated that each Board or Commission have <br /> guidance in City Code that are in alignment with State Statutes that may exist. <br /> Councilmember Musgrove asked for input on the HRA which was dissolved and how the process <br /> happened. <br /> City Council/October 22,2019 <br /> Page 5 of 8 <br />
