Councilmember Riley introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #19-281 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A REVISED LANDSCAPE PLAN FOR DELTA MODTECH RECITALS 1.That on June 25, 2019, the City Council granted approval of Final Plat and Site Plan for Delta ModTech to construct a new facility on the property generally known as 8445 Bunker Lake Blvd NW and legally described as follows: Lot 1, Block 1 Amsterdam Extension (the "Subject Property") 2.That on September 16, 2019, the City received a request to consider potential revisions to the approved Landscape Plan that would reduce the total number of plantings (both trees and shrubs) on the Subject Property. 3.That concerns were raised regarding the available space for plantings to grow; future detriments to certain maintenance activities; and overall aesthetics of overplanting the Subject Property. 4.That on November 6, 2019, the City received a revised Landscape Plan for consideration. 5.That on November 18, 2019, the Environmental Policy Board reviewed and recommended approval of the revised Landscape Plan as it would result in a healthier landscape while not diminishing the appearance of the Subject Property from the public road or from the adjacent residential parcel. 6.That the Environmental Policy Board also directed Staff to review the landscape requirements for the Employment Districts and research potential amendments for consideration at a future meeting. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby grants approval of the revised Landscape Plan for Delta ModTech.
