<br />Councilmember Riley introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #19-281 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A REVISED LANDSCAPE PLAN FOR DELTA <br />MODTECH <br /> <br />RECITALS <br /> <br /> <br />1.That on June 25, 2019, the City Council granted approval of Final Plat and Site Plan for <br />Delta ModTech to construct a new facility on the property generally known as 8445 Bunker <br />Lake Blvd NW and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Lot 1, Block 1 Amsterdam Extension <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property") <br /> <br /> <br />2.That on September 16, 2019, the City received a request to consider potential revisions to <br />the approved Landscape Plan that would reduce the total number of plantings (both trees <br />and shrubs) on the Subject Property. <br /> <br /> <br />3.That concerns were raised regarding the available space for plantings to grow; future <br />detriments to certain maintenance activities; and overall aesthetics of overplanting the <br />Subject Property. <br /> <br /> <br />4.That on November 6, 2019, the City received a revised Landscape Plan for consideration. <br /> <br /> <br />5.That on November 18, 2019, the Environmental Policy Board reviewed and recommended <br />approval of the revised Landscape Plan as it would result in a healthier landscape while not <br />diminishing the appearance of the Subject Property from the public road or from the <br />adjacent residential parcel. <br /> <br /> <br />6.That the Environmental Policy Board also directed Staff to review the landscape <br />requirements for the Employment Districts and research potential amendments for <br />consideration at a future meeting. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby grants approval of the revised Landscape Plan for <br />Delta ModTech. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
