Councilmember Riley introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #19-297 <br />RESOLUTION HIRING A TEMPORARY PART-TIME BUILDING MAINTENANCE <br />WORKER <br />WHEREAS, Staff alerted the City Council of an upcoming temporary absence in Building <br />Maintenance due to a staff member's leave of absence; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff selected a qualified candidate; and <br />WHEREAS, the candidate has passed the pre -employment screenings; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff recommends hiring the Temporary Part-time Building Maintenance <br />Worker in the Public Works Department. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) Motion to adopt resolution 419-297 to hire the following employee on or near the date <br />listed below: <br />Temporary Part-time Building Maintenance Worker: Erick Benson, effective on or near <br />December 9, 2019 at $15.00 per hour, and approximately twenty-five hours per week for <br />approximately eight weeks. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Kuzma, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor LeTourneau <br />Councilmember Riley <br />Councilmember Kuzma <br />Councilmember Heinrich <br />Councilmember Menth <br />Councilmember Musgrove <br />Councilmember Specht <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />and the following abstained: <br />None <br />
