<br /> <br />Councilmember Kuzma introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #19-291 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 2019, PAYABLE 2020, MUNICIPAL TAX LEVY <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, COUNTY OF ANOKA, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the following levies for assessed 2019, payable 2020, be levied upon the taxable <br />property in said City of Ramsey, Anoka County, State of Minnesota for the following <br />purposes: <br /> <br />GENERAL LEVY <br /> <br /> Fund 101: General Fund - General Operations <br /> Fiscal Disparity Transfer (as certified) $ 1,897,170 <br /> Collected as Property Tax – EDA Levy 91,413 <br /> Collected as Property Tax – General Levy 8,773,762 $ 10,762,345 <br /> <br /> DEBT SERVICE LEVY <br /> <br /> CIP Bonds (Fire #2) 262,358 <br /> CIP Bond – Municipal Center 1,117,813 <br /> 2013 Equipment Certificates 66,073 <br /> <br /> 2015 GO Road Improvement Bonds 28,542 <br /> 2014 Equipment Certificates 99,380 <br />2016 GO Road Improvement Bond 66,377 <br />2017 GO Road Improvement Bonds 48,877 <br />2018 GO Road Improvement Bonds 57,467 <br /> <br /> $1,746,887 <br /> <br /> <br />TOTAL CERTIFIED LEVIES $ 12,509,232 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />2)That this final levy does not exceed the Proposed Levy adopted September 24, 2019. <br /> <br /> <br />3)That the City of Ramsey will not be levying the $336,774 related to the $3,090,000 GO <br />Refunding Bond, Series 2011B, as per Joint Powers Agreement with Anoka County. <br />Anoka County is required to pay directly to the City, this debt service amount. <br /> <br /> <br />4)That the City of Ramsey will not be levying the total $1,215,703 (105% of debt service) <br />related to the GO Capital Improvement Plan Refunding Bonds for the Municipal Center. <br />The City will levy at $1,117,813. <br /> <br /> <br />5)That the City of Ramsey will not be levying the total $76,073 related to the $635,000 <br />Capital Equipment Certificates. The City will levy at $66,073. <br /> <br />
