Attached to the Weekly Update is the 2019 Holiday Party Invitation. <br />• Opportunity to Recycle Your Extra Cardboard. The City of Ramsey will have <br />dumpsters available at the Public Works Facility Campus (14100 Jaspar Street) through <br />January 17, for residents to dispose of excess cardboard. There is no cost for this service. <br />Boxes should be flattened to save space in the dumpster, but there is no need to bundle <br />them. This is intended for cardboard only, but other fiber items like newspaper, cereal <br />boxes, office paper and magazines can also be placed in the dumpster. Please - Do not put <br />any other non -fiber or non -paper materials in or around the dumpster. <br />• Recycle Your Old Holiday Lights at Ramsey City Hall. Have you discovered old or <br />broken strands of lights while decorating your home for the holidays? Bring them to the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center during regular business hours (Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to <br />4:30 pm) and recycle them for free! Drop-off bins for old holiday lights, as well as electric <br />cords, telephone cords, and appliance cords, will be located in the lobby of the Ramsey <br />Municipal Center now through the end of January, 2020! <br />• Help Keep Snow Away From Fire Hydrants - Please help keep snow away from fire <br />hydrants. Snow piled close to hydrants restricts operation during a fire emergency. The <br />City is requesting your help in keeping our fire hydrants accessible. Please clear a four - <br />foot circle around the hydrant near your home to ensure easy access for our Fire <br />Department.
