Commissioner Woestehoff introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION#19-273 <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING A ONE YEAR EXTENSION OF A VARIANCE TO LOT <br /> FRONTAGE AND TO ACCESSORY BUILDING HEIGHT ON THE PROPERTY <br /> LOCATED AT 17902 SAINT FRANCIS BLVE NW AND DECLARING TERMS OF <br /> PERMIT <br /> RECITALS <br /> 1. The City of Ramsey received an application from Dale and Tammy Wills(the"Permittee") <br /> requesting a Variance to the lot frontage requirement as well as the maximum allowable <br /> height for detached accessory buildings on the property generally known as 17902 Saint <br /> Francis Blvd NW and legally described as follows: <br /> The northwest Quarter of the northeast Quarter together with the northeast Quarter <br /> of the northwest Quarter both in Section 2, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, <br /> Minnesota, except roads subject to easement of record. <br /> (the "Subject Property") <br /> 2. That the Ramsey Planning Commission conducted a Public Hearing and adopted <br /> Resolution #19-044 granting a variance to lot frontage and accessory building height on <br /> the Subject Property on February 7, 2019. <br /> 3. That on August 21, 2019, the City's Building Official determined that the indoor horse <br /> riding arenas would qualify as an agricultural use and would be exempt from a building <br /> permit; however,per Ramsey City Code, a Zoning Permit would still be required. <br /> 4. That the Permittee submitted an application for a Zoning Permit for the first indoor horse <br /> riding arena on September 13, 2019. <br /> 5. That on September 25, 2019, at the direction of the State Fire Marshall's Office, it was <br /> determined that MN State Fire Code was applicable and that the Permittee would need to <br /> modify the building plans to address fire suppression. <br /> 6. That on November 4, 2019,the Permittee contacted the Planning Division to request a one <br /> year extension for the variance, which would have expired on February 7, 2020 if a permit <br /> for a riding arena had not been issued. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY,ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> That the Ramsey Planning Commission hereby grants approval of a one (1) year extension to <br /> initiate the variance, approved by Resolution #19-044, to the minimum lot frontage requirement <br />
