She confirmed that some of the positions have existed in the past, such as Civil <br /> Engineer II. <br /> Mayor LeTourneau summarized that this would keep up with the job duties already being <br /> performed by the employee and therefore more accurately describe their job and compensation. <br /> Councilmember Kuzma noted that there has been significant discussion on this topic through past <br /> worksessions and they have been included in the approved budget. <br /> Motion by Councilmember Kuzma, seconded by Councilmember Menth, to Adopt Resolution <br /> #19-288 to Approve Position Reclassifications. <br /> Further discussion: Councilmember Heinrich stated that she will be opposing the motion as she is <br /> not in favor of the reclassification from Community Development Director to Deputy City <br /> Administrator. <br /> Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor LeTourneau, Councilmembers Kuzma, Menth, Riley and <br /> Specht. Voting No: Councilmembers Heinrich and Musgrove. <br /> 8. MAYOR, COUNCIL AND STAFF INPUT <br /> City Administrator Ulrich announced upcoming meetings and events. <br /> Councilmember Specht thanked Coborn's for putting on a great holiday event. He also thanked <br /> the firefighters for volunteering their time and encouraged others to do the same to support great <br /> causes in the community. <br /> Mayor LeTourneau stated that this has been another great year with additional growth and change. <br /> He thanked the staff for all of the support they have provided the Council. He also thanked the <br /> Council for their willingness to work together for the betterment of the community. He thanked <br /> the residents for allowing the Council to serve and represent the residents. <br /> 9.
