She confirmed that some of the positions have existed in the past, such as Civil <br />Engineer II. <br />Mayor LeTourneau summarized that this would keep up with the job duties already being <br />performed by the employee and therefore more accurately describe their job and compensation. <br />Councilmember Kuzma noted that there has been significant discussion on this topic through past <br />worksessions and they have been included in the approved budget. <br />Motion by Councilmember Kuzma, seconded by Councilmember Menth, to Adopt Resolution <br />#19-288 to Approve Position Reclassifications. <br />Further discussion: Councilmember Heinrich stated that she will be opposing the motion as she is <br />not in favor of the reclassification from Community Development Director to Deputy City <br />Administrator. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor LeTourneau, Councilmembers Kuzma, Menth, Riley and <br />Specht. Voting No: Councilmembers Heinrich and Musgrove. <br />8. MAYOR, COUNCIL AND STAFF INPUT <br />City Administrator Ulrich announced upcoming meetings and events. <br />Councilmember Specht thanked Coborn's for putting on a great holiday event. He also thanked <br />the firefighters for volunteering their time and encouraged others to do the same to support great <br />causes in the community. <br />Mayor LeTourneau stated that this has been another great year with additional growth and change. <br />He thanked the staff for all of the support they have provided the Council. He also thanked the <br />Council for their willingness to work together for the betterment of the community. He thanked <br />the residents for allowing the Council to serve and represent the residents. <br />9.
