Individual hives will be not <br />more than 20 cubic feet in volume and automatic water will be supplied by an adaption to the existing <br />automatic irrigation system. The location on the property is greater than 25' from any property lines and <br />not adjacent to any inhabited structures (figure 2 and 3). Dr. Noah Barka, a Minnesota licensed <br />veterinarian, has completed the USDA -APHIS National Veterinary accreditation program training "The <br />Role of Veterinarians in Honey Bee Health" and the University of Minnesota course "Beekeeping in <br />Northern Climates Year 1." The initial year will be limited to 2 hives (north side of workshop).
