Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #20-019 RESOLUTION APPROVING A BEEKEEPING LICENSE ON A RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY GENERALLY KNOWN AS 7520 149th Ave NW. WHEREAS, Noah and Kimberly Barka, hereinafter referred to as the "Licensee", have properly applied to the City of Ramsey (the "City") for a Beekeeping License on the property generally known as 7520 149th Ave NW and legally described as follows: Lot 4, Block 1 Pineview Estates 2nd Addition ("Subject Property") WHEREAS, the request appears to comply with all provisions and conditions outlined in the Ramsey City Code Section 10-1(f) pertaining to beekeeping; and WHEREAS, the City Council met on January 28, 2020 to review the request for a Beekeeping License. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That a Beekeeping License is hereby granted to the Licensee to maintain honeybees on the Subject Property. 2) That the Licensee shall comply with all provisions of Ramsey City Code Section 10-1(f). The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 28th day of January, 2020.
