Counci/member introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #05-04-XXX <br /> <br />RESOI,UTION RECEIVING PROHIBITING PARKING ON CR 116 FROM THE <br />EASTERN CITY LIMITS TO GERMANIUM STREET NW <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Anoka County will be undertaking improvements on CR 116 from the eastern <br />City limits to Germanium Street NW which will include the construction of four lane divided <br />roadway; and <br /> <br />W[IEREAS, federal and state aid guidelines require the prohibition of parking on four lane <br />roadways which do not provide for a dedicated parking lane; and <br /> <br />WI! EREAS, dedicated parking lanes are not being included as an element of this proposed <br />project; and <br /> <br />WItEREAS, it is in the best interests of public safety to prohibit parking along CR 116 for the <br />length o F this proj¢ct. <br /> <br />NOW TIIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSE¥, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That thc Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the posting of signage prohibiting <br /> parking along CR 116 between the eastern City limits and Germanium Street NW. <br /> <br />The motion For the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and Ltl)on vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and thc Ibllowing voted against the same: <br />and thc lbllowing abstained: <br />and the/bllowing were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 12th day of April, 2005. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-0~-XXX <br /> Page 1 of 1 <br /> <br /> <br />
