Presentation I IRA I~;xccutivc Director Frolik explained this is the reconvening of the public hearing regarding the establishment of a ltousing and Redevelopment Authority. On February 22, 2005, per staff's recommendation, the City Council recessed the public hearing to the regular meeting on Tuesday, March 8, 2005. The City has received the necessary consents from the County HRA and DEED. 'l'he resolution is eligible for adoption. She explained on February 22, 2005, the City Council also introduced an ordinance to amend City Code Chapter 2 (Boards and Commissions) to create the 1 IliA. The ordinance is now eligible for adoption. The public hearing can now be adjourned if there arc no additional comments. Citizcn Inpot '['hcrc was none. Molion by Councilmcmber Cook, seconded by Councilmember Strommen, to close the public hearing. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Cook, Strommen, Elvig, Olson, and l'carson. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Jeffrey. The resolution and ordinance arc eligible for adoption. Motion by Councihnember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Cook, to adopt resolution #05- 03-072 to lbrm a HRA in and for the City of Ramsey. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Elvig, Cook, Olson, Pearson, and Strommcn. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Jeffrey. Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Cook, to adopt Ordinance 05-05 to amend City Code Chapter 2 (Boards and Commissions) to create a Housing and Rcdcvcloplncnt Authority.
