Attached to the Weekly Update is the City of Ramsey Community Blood Drive Flyer. <br />Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Minnesota — Saturday, February 22, at 1:00 pm at Crooked <br />Lake Park, 13180 Crooked Lake Blvd. NW in Coon Rapids. The Polar Plunge is back in Anoka <br />County for the 9th year in a row! The Anoka County Plunge has raised over $1,289,000 in its 8- <br />year history and in 2019, 537 plungers raised $156,034! Absentee voting for the Presidential Nomination Primary continues to be <br />available to Ramsey residents. Voting in -person absentee is open at the Ramsey Municipal <br />Center or the Anoka County Government Center as follows: Monday through Friday, from <br />8:00 am to 4:30 pm. City Hall will also be open for absentee voting on Saturday, February 29, <br />2020 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm and on Monday, March 2, 2020 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. <br />Absentee Direct Balloting. Direct balloting for in -person absentee voting will begin on <br />Tuesday, February 25. Direct balloting is Minnesota's version of `early voting.' The absentee <br />voter marks his ballot and feeds it into the vote tabulator versus in the absentee envelope, which <br />is the process for the first 39 days of absentee voting. Direct balloting is allowed seven days <br />prior to the election. <br />Save the Date: <br />• 2020 State of the City Address - Please join us for Mayor LeTourneau's 2020 State of the <br />City Address on Monday, February 24, at 7:00 pm in the Ramsey City Hall Council <br />Chambers, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW.
