Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Minnesota — Saturday, February 22, at 1:00 pm at Crooked Lake Park, 13180 Crooked Lake Blvd. NW in Coon Rapids. The Polar Plunge is back in Anoka County for the 9th year in a row! The Anoka County Plunge has raised over $1,289,000 in its 8- year history and in 2019, 537 plungers raised $156,034! March 3, 2020 Presidential Nomination Primary Election: Absentee Voting. Absentee voting for the Presidential Nomination Primary continues to be available to Ramsey residents. Voting in -person absentee is open at the Ramsey Municipal Center or the Anoka County Government Center as follows: Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. City Hall will also be open for absentee voting on Saturday, February 29, 2020 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm and on Monday, March 2, 2020 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Absentee Direct Balloting. Direct balloting for in -person absentee voting will begin on Tuesday, February 25. Direct balloting is Minnesota's version of `early voting.' The absentee voter marks his ballot and feeds it into the vote tabulator versus in the absentee envelope, which is the process for the first 39 days of absentee voting. Direct balloting is allowed seven days prior to the election. In his presentation, Mayor LeTourneau will provide a review of City operations, updates and achievements from 2019, as well as a look ahead at what the City of Ramsey is working on in 2020. • Wine & Canvas — Tuesday, February 25, 6:00 — 8:00 pm, Getting antsy for spring?
