<br />Councilmember Kuzma introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #20-039 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY COST SHARE FRAMEWORK FOR <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #20-04: DEVELOPMENT INITIATED PUMA STREET <br />EXTENSION <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br />, the City has received land use applications, concepts anddevelopment <br />proposals for Outlot H, Riverstone (Capstone Homes), Outlot A, Alpha Development <br />(Paxmar/AKM Farm) directly abutting Puma Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br />, the City has received a development proposal on Outlot C, Northfork from <br />BK Land Development on land owned by Paxmar/AKM Farm; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br />, the anticipated development listed above has created the need to increase <br />capacity and improve safety on Puma Street and Alpine Drive; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br />, the City acknowledges the role of Puma Street as a Collector Road serving <br />multiple residential neighborhoods and business districts; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br />, the City desires to establish a fair and equitable cost share model for the <br />reconstruction of Puma Street that balances the City’s contribution to the Collector Road while <br />also acknowledging the impact created by new development. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />1)That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the Preliminary Cost Share Framework for <br />Improvement Project #20-04: Development Initiated Puma Street Extension as outlined <br />Exhibit A attached hereto. <br /> <br />The motion of the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Specht, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> Councilmember Heinrich <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Menth <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />
