<br />Councilmember Riley introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #20-043 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION POSTPONING PUBLIC HEARING FOR PUMA STREET <br />IMPROVEMENTS, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #20-04 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />to support future development the City of Ramsey proposes to improve <br /> <br />th <br />Puma Street generally between 150 Lane NW and Alpine Drive in 2020 by reconstructing the <br />street and trail and extending municipal utilities; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />benefiting properties are proposed to be assessed for all or a portion of the <br />cost of the improvements, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429, the City Charter, and the <br />City’s adopted Special Assessments Policy; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #20-015, a Public Hearing <br />was called for the 10th day of March, 2020, in the Council Chambers of City Hall at 7:00 p.m., <br />and the Clerk was directed to give mailed and published notice of such hearing and <br />improvements as required by law; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />Public Hearing notices were not mailed to benefiting property owners as <br />required by law; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />the Public Hearing must be postponed to March 24, 2020, to allow <br />sufficient time to mail notices to benefiting property owners and to publish notice twice in the <br />City’s official newspaper as required by law. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />th <br />1) A Public Hearing will be held on such improvements on the 24 day of March, 2020 in <br />the Council Chambers of City Hall at 7:00 pm, and the Clerk shall give mailed and <br />published notice of such hearing and improvements as required by law. <br /> <br />The motion of the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Kuzma, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Heinrich <br /> Councilmember Menth <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
