• Councilmember Anderson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: • • RESOLUTION #00 -12 -333 RESOLUTION ENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD FOR FULL -TIME COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR SYLVIA FROLIK WHEREAS, Cindy Sherman resigned from her position as Community Development Director effective October 22, 1999; and WHEREAS, Sylvia Frolik was appointed as Interim Community Development Director effective October 27, 1999; and WHEREAS, Ms. Frolik was appointed Community Development Director effective January 12, 2000, subject to a one -year probationary period beginning with her October start date; and WHEREAS, Ms. Frolik successfully completed her probationary period and her performance was documented by the City Administrator; and WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee, at its December 12, 2000 meeting agreed with the staff recommendation to end the probationary period for full -time Community Development Director, effective October 27, 2000. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to end the probationary period for full -time Community Development Director Sylvia Frolik effective October 27, 2000. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec Councilmember Anderson Councilmember Hendriksen Councilmember Connolly Councilmember Zimmerman and the following voted against the same: None and the following abstained: None
