• <br />• <br />• <br />and the following were absent: <br />None <br />adoption: <br />1231807.1 <br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF A MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA <br />HELD: November 28, 2000 <br />Pursuant to due call thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Ramsey, Anoka County, Minnesota, was duly held at the City Hall on the 28th day of November, <br />2000, at 7:00 o'clock _.M. for the purpose in part of authorizing the competitive negotiated sale <br />of the $1,680,000 General Obligation Taxable Tax Increment Bonds, Series 2001A. <br />The following members were present: <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec, Councilmembers Susan Anderson, Margaret Connolly, <br />Terry Hendriksen and Gerald Zimmerman <br />Member C onnolly introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />RESOLUTION # #00 -11 -315 <br />RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE COMPETITIVE NEGOTIATED <br />SALE OF $1,680,000 <br />GENERAL OBLIGATION TAXABLE TAX INCREMENT BONDS, <br />SERIES 2001A <br />A. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey, Minnesota (the <br />"City "), has heretofore determined that it is necessary and expedient to issue its $1,680,000 <br />General Obligation Taxable Tax Increment Bonds, Series 2001A (the "Bonds ") to finance land <br />acquisition and site improvements; and <br />B. WHEREAS, the City has retained Juran & Moody, a division of Miller, <br />Johnson & Kuehn, Inc., in Saint Paul, Minnesota ( "Juran "), as its independent financial advisor <br />and is therefore authorized to sell these obligations by a competitive negotiated sale in <br />accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Section 475.60, Subdivision 2(9); and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Ramsey, Minnesota, as follows: <br />
