Councilmember Anderson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #00 -11 -313 <br />RESOLUTION ENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD FOR FULL -TIME CITY <br />ENGINEER BRIAN OLSON <br />WHEREAS, Brian Olson was hired as a full -time City Engineer for the City of Ramsey <br />and began work on May 30, 2000, subject to a six -month probationary period; and <br />WHEREAS, Brian Olson successfully completed his probationary period and his <br />performance was documented by the Director of Public Works; and <br />WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee, at its November 28, 2000, meeting agreed with <br />the staff recommendation to end the probationary period for full -time City Engineer Brian Olson, <br />effective November 30, 2000. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the <br />Personnel Committee to end the probationary period for full -time City Engineer Brian <br />Olson effective November 30, 2000. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Zimmerman, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Anderson <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br />Councilmember Connolly <br />Councilmember Hendriksen <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />and the following abstained: <br />None <br />and the following were absent: <br />None <br />
