• Councilmember Anderson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #00 -10 -273 RESOLUTION APPROVING FINAL PAYMENT TO W.B. MILLER, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #00 -01 THROUGH #00 -05 (2000 STREET MAINTENANCE PROGRAM) WHEREAS, Resolutions #00 -04 -086 through #00 -04 -090 were adopted by Ramsey City Council on April 11, 2000, authorizing the preparation of plans and specifications for the above referenced work; and WHEREAS, Resolution #00 -04 -101 was adopted by Ramsey City Council on April 25, 2000, approving the plans and specifications and the advertisement for bids for the above - referenced work; and WHEREAS, on June 13, 2000 the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #00-06 - XXX awarding the bid to W.B. Miller, Inc. for the 2000 Street Maintenance Program (Improvement Projects #00 -01 through #00 -05); and WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and recommends final payment to W.B. Miller, Inc. in the amount of $53,338.91. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes final payment to W.B. Miller, Inc. for the 2000 Street Maintenance Program (Improvement Projects #00 -01 through #00 -05) in the amount of $53,338.91. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the month of October 2000. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec Councilmember Anderson Councilmember Hendriksen Councilmember Connolly Councilmember Zimmerman
