Councilmember Musgrove introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #20-059 RESOLUTION APPROVING DRIVEWAY ACCESS FOR LOT 2 BLOCK 1 HAUCK th ADDITION OFF OF 169 LANE NW RECITALS 1.The City of Ramsey received an application for a Variance, Sketch Plan, and Final Plat for HAUCK ADDITION on March 1, 2019; and 2.The Planning Commission reviewed the Sketch Plan and conducted a Public Hearing for the Variance on April 4, 2019; and 3.The Planning Commission approved a Variance to minimum lot size on April 4, 2019; and 4.The City Council reviewed and approved the Final Plat on April 23, 2019, which created Lots 1-2, Block 1 Hauck Addition; and 5.On February 21, 2020, Paul Oster (the “Property Owner”) submitted an application for a Building Permit for a new home on Lot 2, Block 1 Hauck Addition (the “Subject Property”) th with a proposed driveway accessing 169 Lane rather than Neon Street; and 6.On March 10, 2020, the City’s Development Review Team reviewed the proposed driveway location and recommended the driveway either be relocated to Neon Street or a th ‘turn around’ be added to the driveway to avoid backing out onto 169 Lane. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1)That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the Subject Property having driveway th access from 169 Lane NW contingent upon a ‘turn around’ being installed as part of the th driveway to reduce or eliminate the need to back out onto 169 Lane NW. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Menth, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following Mayor LeTourneau Councilmember Musgrove Councilmember Menth Councilmember Heinrich Councilmember Kuzma Councilmember Riley Councilmember Specht
