e-Newsletter— ACD publishes a quarterly e-newsletter that C t E n <br />�.H'a1T�AE ER <br />provides updates on projects and services, grant awards,, '�;,< < A `) Y <br />staffing, scheduled events and activities, general natural <br />resources stewardship information, and Board activities as a means to <br />better reach out to public officials and others who subscribe. <br />WMO Education/Newsletters — ACD provides content to WMOs to <br />incorporate into their member city newsletters related to the implementation <br />of their water plans. Some WMOs also contract with ACD to provide project <br />specific education work products such as displays, signs, and brochures. <br />Video Development— Videos can be used to highlight ACD <br />projects, inform other professionals on the elements of <br />project design and construction, inform the public on <br />natural resources issues, and engage the public. Subject to time and <br />budget constraints the following video projects may be pursued. <br />• Host a theme based video contest with prizes promoted through <br />local high schools or other venues <br />• Animated videos for the general public on groundwater <br />contamination as well as Lakeshore stewardship <br />• Virtual reality footage highlighting local natural resources to engage <br />audiences at events through an immersive experience <br />All ACD videos are available on the AnokaSWCD YouTube page. <br />Website — While ACD's AnokaSWCD.org website serves an important <br />administrative function, it also provides useful information on natural <br />resources stewardship. It presents ACD's programs and services, provides <br />project information, and serves as an archive for myriad natural resource <br />management reports and analyses such as the Water Resources Almanac <br />and Stormwater Retrofit Analyses. The website provides the public with <br />direct access to ACD's series of brochures, displays, and videos. <br />Website Blog — Blogs are an actively updated section of a <br />website intended to provide a more comprehensive <br />narrative of priority topics than can be accomplished in a <br />newsletter, Facebook post, or typical webpage. <br />Website Data Access Tool — Under contract and in <br />partnership with several water management entities, ACD <br />staff collect and analyze water quality, quantity, and biology <br />44 <br />CLEAN <br />WATER <br />!.A\!) & <br />Lfi(.At:Y <br />ra-nLU)IiI i <br />Ct FAN <br />WA T ER <br />!.
