Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #05-05- RESOLUTION DENYING THE ISSUANCE OF AN INTERIM USE PERtMIT TO ESTABLISH AN OUTDOOR PAINTBALL FIELD IN AN EMPLOYMENT DISTRICT WHEREAS, David Bednarczyk, president of FSL Paintball Arena, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", has properly applied to the City of Ramsey (the "City") for an Interim Use Permit (Permit) to establish an outdoor paintball field on the property located at 6651 141st Ave NW and legally described as follows: Lot 1, Block 1, Gateway North Industrial Park No. 5, Anoka County, Minnesota (the "Subject Property"); and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission met on ApriI 21, 2005, conducted a public hearing and recommended that the City Council approve/deny the request to establish an outdoor paintball field on the Subject Property; and WHEREAS, the City Councii met on May 10, 2005 to review the request for an interim use permit to establish an outdoor paintball field on the Subject Property. WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution 05-05- adopting Findings of Fact #~ relating to the Applicant's request for a Permit to establish an outdoor paintball field in an employment district. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: i) This permit is denied pursuant to Section 9.03.06 of the Ramsey City Code, based on Findings of Fact # . The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember ., and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 10ta day of May, 2005. 10
