In Minnesota <br /> <br /> Thirty municipalities presently operate under the <br />council-manager form of government. They include 8 <br />villages and 22 home rule charter cities. There have been <br />no abandonments. <br /> <br /> Several cities ~and villages, not formally considered <br />council-manager governments, have employed administrators <br />or administrative assistants. <br /> <br /> In 1964, four municipalities (Rosevil!e, Richfield, <br />Robbinsdale and Blaine) adopted the council-manager plan <br />and one (Spring Lake Park) rejected it.
