The clerk should answer <br />inquiries concerning these records. <br /> <br />f. Certification <br /> <br />The clerk should certify the following information and attest to its validity: <br />· Local approval of special laws pertaining to the city. <br /> <br />· Special assessments to the county auditor. <br /> <br />· Plats of land within the city to the county recorder. <br /> <br />· Tax levies to the county auditor. <br /> <br />· Immediate notification of a change of regular city election date to the <br /> secretary of state and the county auditor. <br /> <br />· Use of lever voting machines or an electronic voting system, within 30 <br /> days of adoption of such a system to the secretary of state. <br /> <br />· Precinct boundary changes to the secretary of state. The clerk must also <br /> file a map showing the new boundaries with the secretary of state.
