• <br />Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #00 -09 -232 <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #0531 TO REZONE CERTAIN <br />PROPERTY FROM R -1 RURAL RESIDENTIAL TO R -1 URBAN RESIDENTIAL <br />WHEREAS, the City received an application to rezone certain property in accordance <br />with Section 9.03.03 of the Ramsey City Code. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1. That Reilley Estates Partnership, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant," has properly applied <br />to rezone certain property from R -1 Rural Residential to R -1 Urban Residential. <br />2. That the property proposed to be rezoned is legally described as follows: <br />That part of Section 24, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota described as <br />follows: <br />Government Lot 2 and Government Lot 3; Section 24, Township 32, Range 25, except those <br />parts of said Government Lot 2 and Government tot 3, platted as Reilley Estates and Reilley <br />Estates Third Addition, according to the recorded plats, on file in the office of the County <br />Recorder, Anoka County. <br />The Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 24, Township 32, Range 25, <br />Anoka County Minnesota, except the South 660 feet of the West 181.5 feet thereof. <br />The Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 24, Township 32, Range 25, <br />Anoka County, Minnesota, except the west 1206 feet and except the South 660 feet thereof. <br />(the "Subject Property ") <br />3. That the total area of the Subject Property is approximately seventy (75) acres. <br />4. That the Subject Property is currently zoned R -1 Rural Residential and is within the <br />boundaries of the Metropolitan Urban Service Area (MUSA). <br />5. That the properties to the west, north and east and the property on the south side of 153' <br />Avenue N.W. are all zoned R -1 Rural Residential and are also in the MUSA. <br />6. That the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.03 of the <br />• City Code on June 6, 2000 and on July 10, 2000, which public hearing was properly <br />advertised. The minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated herein by reference. <br />
