Councilmember Connolly introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #00 -09 -228 RESOLUTION APPROVING 2ND PARTIAL PAY ESTIMATE AND CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 TO MEADOWVALE CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #99 -66, #99 -68 AND #00 -28 (a. k. a. 2000 STORM WATER UTILITY PROJECTS) WHEREAS, on June 13, 2000, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #00 -06 -146 awarding the bid for 2000 Storm Water Utility Projects #99 -66, #99 -68 and #00 -28 to Meadowvale Construction in the amount of $262,461; and WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 increase the contract by $2,250 as compensation for removal of buried trees on the project. WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski inspected the completed work and recommended partial pay estimate to Meadowvale Construction in the amount of $107,059.03. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1. That the City Council hereby authorizes partial pay estimate to Meadowvale Construction for 2000 Storm Water Utility Projects #99 -66, #99 -68 and #00 -28 in the amount of $107,059.03. 2. That the City Council hereby approves Change Order No. 1. 3. That the City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3. That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the month of September 2000. 4. That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec Councilmember Connolly Councilmember Hendriksen Councilmember Anderson Councilmember Zimmerman and the following voted against the same: None RESOLUTION #00 -09 -228 Page 1 of 2
