• <br />Councilmember Hendriksen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #00 -08 -224 <br />RESOLUTION CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING TO ESTABLISH STORM DRAINAGE <br />UTILITY RATES <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution #00 -06 -165 adopted by Ramsey City Council on <br />June 27, 2000, the rates for the storm drainage utility were considered; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has received numerous questions regarding the <br />establishment of a storm drainage utility; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey on January 11, 2000, adopted Ordinance #00 -01, which <br />established a Storm Drainage Utility; <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council will consider the establishment of storm drainage utility rates <br />by holding a public hearing to discuss the rates and charges imposed on all properties within <br />the limits of the City of Ramsey pursuant to Ordinance #00 -01, <br />2) That said public hearing shall be held on the 26th day of September, 2000, in the Council <br />Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center at 7:00 p.m., and the City Administrator shall <br />give published notice of such hearing as required by law. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Zimmerman, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Hendriksen <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br />Councilmember Anderson <br />Councilmember Connolly <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />and the following abstained: <br />None <br />and the following were absent: <br />None <br />
