• • • Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #00 -07 -179 RESOLUTION APPROVING 1 PARTIAL PAYMENT TO E. H. RENNER & SONS, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #99 -65 (WELL NO. 5) WHEREAS, on February 22, 2000, the Ramsey City Council approved Resolution #00- 02 -049 approving the plans and specifications for the above reference work; and WHEREAS, on March 14, 2000, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #00 -03- 056 awarding the bid for Well No. 5 project to E. H. Renner & Sons, Inc. in the amount of $106,665.00; and WHEREAS, City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and recommended partial payment to E. H. Renner & Sons, Inc. in the amount of $25,662.63. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to E. H. Renner & Sons, Inc. for Well No. 5 in the amount of $25,662.63 on July 25, 2000. 2) That the City Council authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the month of July, 2000. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Connolly, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec Councilmember Zimmerman Councilmember Connolly Councilmember Hendriksen and the following voted against the same: None and the following abstained: RESOLUTION #00 -07 -179 Page 1 of 2
